About Barbara
Upstate South Carolina is truly a beautiful place to live, which made my move here in 2009 an easier transition. I was born and raised in Northwest Arkansas in a hardworking, diverse workforce family, which gave me the opportunity to explore several career paths and gain experience in a variety of fields.
My interest in real estate began at a young age through time spent with my grandfather and his construction company. As a land developer and builder, he provided me with firsthand exposure to every stage of the building and development process. While real estate was always part of my life in some capacity, it wasn’t until 2016 that I felt called to pursue it professionally here in South Carolina. Once that pilot light was ignited, my passion for helping others naturally expanded to include supporting their real estate goals and dreams.
To me, success begins with investing in people and making a positive impact. That desire, to serve my family, friends, clients, and community, led me to Engage Real Estate Group in 2019. Their motto, “We do real estate in a way that leads people toward THEIR best story,” has guided every decision I’ve made since. In early 2026, I was honored to move with the Engage team to Berkshire Hathaway Home Services C Dan Joyner Realtors, an affiliation I am incredibly proud of. This transition allows me to offer even greater resources, support, and value to my clients.
Outside of real estate, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Curt, our grown children, my grandson :) and our friends. If we haven’t met yet, I truly hope our paths cross soon. I’m a lover of coffee and meaningful conversation, and I would love the opportunity to hear your story.
