She worked in the buying office for Burdine’s Department Store in Miami until she and her husband started their family and moved to Greenville, SC in 1983. Wendy stayed home with her 3 children until 1995 when she got her real estate license and worked for McAlister Realty from 1995-2001 and has worked for C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS ever since. She started out as a “traditional” agent, working with both buyers and sellers, until she came over to the Chet and Beth Smith Group in 2003 as a Buyer Specialist. Working on this team allows her to do what she does best and loves the most. STRENGTHS & MOTIVATIONS: As one who is a transplant from another part of the U.S., Wendy loves working with buyers who are considering relocating to Greenville, SC. Introducing people to the city that she knows so well and loves so much is one of her favorite parts of her job. One of her biggest strengths is giving both quality and personalized service to her clients and making sure they find the home that meets their family’s needs. She is dedicated and hard working, a good listener, and one who pays attention to detail, all contributing to the fact that a large portion of her business comes from her past clients. PERSONAL & COMMUNITY INTERESTS: Wendy’s family and faith in God are her top two priorities. She has 3 grown children and 8 grand children. She enjoys spending time with them, her husband, who was also her high school sweetheart, and she is an active member of Grace Church in Greenville. She is an animal lover, enjoys travel, watching sports, going out to eat with friends, playing cards, and unfortunately, reality t.v.
